90 Minutes in Heaven
by Don Piper with Cecil Murphey
This is a true story of how life changed for Don Piper after a horrific auto accident in 1989. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. After laying in his wrecked car for over 90 minutes, a Baptist preacher came upon the accident and was led by God to pray for the man in the red car. He laid his hands on the man and prayed for him. This book tells the story of Don's 90 minute visit to heaven and then his return, which was hard for him to understand, because of the great pain and long recovery that was ahead of him here on earth.

Intimate Moments
with the Savorior
by Ken Gire
This is the best devotional/study book I've ever read. The author chose fifteen people who crossed Jesus' path and wrote about their times together. Ken Gire has a creative, colorful, and flowing style of writing that is easy to understands yet at times seems profound.
The arrangement of the book is sensible and user-friendly. Each section begins with the scripture passage quoted in the book which enables the reader to do the study without a Bible in hand. Then come the short meditation and last, the prayer. The prayers do not end with "amen" because Gire wants the reader to add his own words to it.
You will find your own favorite Bible characters int his book. I feel certain you will grown in your knowledge of Jesus and these familiar people. And, besides, you'll enjoy it!
